I find some message quoting to be useful in keeping track of what the original
question was. I download about once a day so Im not reading more than a couple
of messages from a thread at a time. Quoting makes the conversations
accessable.

Actually it is more trouble and cost.
Im only refering to partial quotes of the most pertinant parts of the message.

I'm in agreement with you on anyone quoting enough to let the discussion
continue – hopefully briefly quoted. What I hope I got across was the quotes
that quote the entire message and then also quote the message ahead of that one
in its entirety. Makes for a very long day reading messages. <G>
