Ahhhhhh… Finally. After a day of screwing around NT is finally up and running. Boy it's a screamer! Haven't been able to get Razor Pro to run yet. It just sits there with the logo displayed. I have to kill the task to make it go away, but it doesn't even phase NT. Can anyone tell me – can I go ahead an install apps (like razor) into the NTFS partition? If I just move directories from my FAT partitions into the NTFS part. will they still work ok? I know they won't be accessible under DOS but for Windows apps. I don't much care. It's weird getting used to this, but i suggest to everyone – get used to it now before Max ships. Besides NT is _very_ nice. (Aside from the program manager shell which I despise) It's wickedly fast and so far all is ok. This weekend I'm going to try and get Razor and such to work. Keeping my fingers xd DM

Dave, Just duplicate you groups and apps to NT. I talked to Microsoft and they said do it that way. There's no way to actually transfer or copy then to NT. Loaded in slicker than … whatever. Drivers were another story. I just identified each driver and reinstalled then to NT. Razor works fine. (I've got ver 1.0D, waiting on 2.0). Haven't done Premiere yet. That is going to be the key one. Its a mess under WFW. ATI card drivers blow it up. Hope the NT drivers are better. Have you done the OpenGL screen savers yet? Later.

Hi Mark, Yup the OpenGL screen savers are pretty cool. I have to reinstall Photoshop 3.0 and Razor but Er and some other ones are fine. The programs like photoshop install DLL's into Windows and they were killed when I moved to NT. I changed hard drives all together so it's not NT's fault. Hopefully this will be ok. I have noticed that graphics appear to go noticably slower under NT. I don't know why though. For instance under Elastic Reality (it opens way faster) dragging an image is much slower than under WFWG 3.11. Heck even opening Quicken the little highlight that appears goes slow enough to notice all the steps. Do you have any ideas here? I'm using a Stealth 24 (ISA) at 800x600x16. Why do you use both Razor and Premiere? Have you got sound working under NT? I've got a Turtle Beach Monterey and have been told they have NT drivers out in Beta. David Rhoten has said he's been unable to get sound to sync to PAR playback which is a big thing for me, so I sure hope this gets resolved soon. Luckily (or unlickily if you look at my bank account) I don't have any work right now so these issues aren't too pressing. If you have any tips please share them. DM
