Chuck, Got back Monday night from an out of town trip to see family. Monday night came down with the flue and was out of commission till Wednesday. First thing Wednesday morning, still groggy, I download 4.06 and installed it. I have not had a chance to try any of the new features yet, but I needed to put together a short video for an exhibit we were attending today. So, I recorded a bunch of clips from past videos and cut together a 16 minute video on the Flyer. I then need to make a two hour continuous tape of this. I did a select all and then duplicated this all of the clips in the project area. This gave me 32 minutes. Did another duplicate, now up to 64 minutes, and did one final duplicate to end up with 128 minutes. This was all Wednesday evening. Did notice some strange things happening before I started duplicating. I played the project once to check it and could not stop it. Isn't the right mouse button still suppose to stop a project from playing? Anyway, after making this 2 hour project, I started a tape recording and pressed play. I watched the project play for about 30 minutes and then left. The next morning, I came in and found my monitor showing a frozen frame of video. The program was locked up. Nothing I could press would free it up, so I did a reboot. I check the tape and found that the Flyer had ran for about 60 minutes when it hit this problem. I had actually wondered if I was doing the right thing when I left Wednesday night. Asking the hard drive to play continuously for over two hours. I'm sure they were cooking. This morning I did an assemble edit to finish the tape. The Flyer ran for about 30 minutes and then hung up again. I've been at the exhibit all day and never had a chance to check out the system since, but I thought I would report this. The 14 page document that came with 4.06 looks like you guys have added a lot of new things. I'm am going to try and figure out how this slow motion and reverse motion works. I think that my head is more clear tonight, that I'll be able to understand it better tomorrow. If not, I'll be asking for help. I will be making up a video tape to show you the problems that I was having in TPaint. I'll do that on Saturday or Sunday. Thanks again for all your hard work in getting this out. Fred
