My VT4000 (non-flyer) is, how can I put it, just not right. The color bars
seems to have a shift problem. Forgive me – I don't know the right term for
it. Each color on the color bars has a 1cm vertical line on the left side of
each bar – the bars go like this: Gray strip on left side of White bar, dark
Yellow strip on left side of yellow bar, etc. The pink bar is real bad – blue
strip on left side of pink bar. It reminds me of a three tube projector that
is out of convergance. Framestores or an incoming video signal don't look that
bad, but the recorded play back (AG-1970) is not so good. Any suggections.
You time is greatly appreciated.
I did Auto-Hue the system with both camera then laserdisk with no change. I
unfortunately do not have a black-burst or vector scope. I'm using a TBC-IV.
I Auto-hued with and without the TBC – no luck. Thanks again
