Actually, I could have used such a thing a few days ago. I forgot that I had
set Nth serial back off, and ended up with odd-numbered .tgas that Smacker
couldn't work with. Took me half an hour to renumber them.
If you get stuck with a fair amount of dos command line "chores", you ought to
look at 4dos, which is a command.com replacement. It allows you to build real
powerful batch files easily. With 2 commands at the the dos prompt, and a 2
line batch file, you could have renumbered all those files in seconds <g>.
