AND YET ANOTHER CADKEY/3DS USER! I've heard from three today! That must be just about all of us! Yes, I know about the Omnikeys with dual function keypads, but as long as the scavenged 85's work the $$$ are better spent on RAM. I suppose if I had to I could get used to a 101-key board, but keying in the text and lable branches, along with the various attributes commands, would be a serious pain. Indeed, what you describe is PRECISELY how I use Cadkey: lofter and fit shapes, cross-sections and loft paths. There's nothing that can match the speed for scale sketching. I'd better stop rambling about it, though. Now that Sisyphus is a Registered Autodesk Plug-In Developer I'd hate to irk anyone in Sausalito. -Eric Peterson/Sisyphus Graphics/Sisyphus Software

> There's nothing that can match the speed for scale sketching. < Exactly. I'm not so much interested in exact dimensions as I am in ease of construction. Cadkey's line editing functions are second to none in this respect. There's nothing I hate more than fighting with the interface to do something simple (like trying to do some simple fillets in the 2D Shaper). >I'd better stop rambling about it, though. It's pretty obvious that our primary loyalty is with 3DS considering that we're on this forum praising it daily. — James — Choreo Motion —
