#AniPro and Win95

[This was posted to ALL a couple days ago, but I'm not confident with WinCim,
so here goes again.]
I'm sure this has been asked, but I couldn't find a thread with the answer . .
.
What is the best way to run AAPRO under Win95? Under beta build 950 I had no
problem running it as a full-screen Win95 app. That is, I didn't need to
configure it to drop into MS-DOS mode. So I could switch in and out of Ani w/no
problems. Now I have the final Win95 release: Ani still runs, but if I switch
out and then back in, I usually get "The application could not be restored and
will be terminated." Sometimes I get "The application has use memory at [some
address] and will be terminated."
I tried configuring it as a DOS-only app, but then I don't get Windows network
support, which I need. What to do?

andy… for lack of a better way of putting it… there are some problems with
Win95 returning from ANI and applications like it. your easiest shot, at this
time, despite the networking incovenience, will be to run the application as a
DOS application. same thing happens with AutoCAD and several other PharLap
applications. i could get into Win95's more "interesting features" at the
programming level, but … never mind.

Thank you. That's disappointing, but it's not your fault 8-).
I'm interested in those programming issues, if you don't mind providing a brief
descripition.

andy, i'm away from my home till end of the week. if you can post me Monday
with something to jog my memory (feel free to use email instead of open forum
as i'd rather not get gory on Win95 in public forum), i'll be by my resources
and can give you some technical info on the issues. 🙂
