Hi As far as I read about 3DS MAX it seems to me that the product is strongly tied to the Intel platform. Is ADESK considering to widespread the product to the gaining popularity RISC chips? As I am a "fan" of the DEC Alpha I would very much like to work with 3DS on my favourite HW. Any supporters? Have a nice day regards Tano Bisaz

Hi Gaetano, << Is ADESK considering to widespread the product to the gaining popularity RISC chips? >> It's been a very popular wishlist item. However, there has been nothing officially posted by Autodesk regarding this. jonas[adesk]

Yost Group's discussion of MAX says to "wait for announcement on RISC processor compatibility". I have read this as a go for Apha. Maybe this is just my wishful thinking. Anyway I hope so for the sake of my 21164 300 sitting on the floor that I bough partially to run MAX in the future. Also Speed Razor and Perception card. I finally got the Perception software today, 2 months later than touted. Do you know of any good vector or paint programs on Alpha? Thanks.
