Does anyone know how Exec's memory allocation scheme works, at the
bits'n'bytes level? I've recently had some interesting thoughts about
>very< efficient heap management, and I'm both curious about whether
they've already been implemented in current systems, and what their effects
would be, if they haven't. (The article in the October Byte was
