Is there an easy and inexpensive way of making a CD32 work as a CD-ROM
drive (CD0:) with an A500+ with a Supra SCSI controller ?

Not that I know of. The CD32 is a A1200 computer in itself, and the
CD-ROM appears to use a custom interface.
You will have to either use the Communicator (cheaper), to interface
the CD32 to the A500+'s serial port, or use the SX-1 (more expensive)
to expand the CD32 into a full A1200 computer. By using the SX-1 to
add a floppy port and full parallel port, you can use a Parnet to
connect the two systems.

Thanks, Ron. Just what I thought. I had heard about the Communicator and the
SX-1, but my mother-in-law wanted a CD-ROM drive for her A500+, and they are
now selling CD32s at $200, so that might have been an inexpensive way to get a
CD-ROM drive.
