Please help me, Is there an Amiga-Viewer for Mac. QT (Quicktime)

I've never heard of a QuickTime player for the Amiga. Unfortunately, QuickTime
movies can use many different compression schemes, and some of them are
proprietary to Apple. Only the simplest scheme is documented. In theory,
someone could make a QuickTime player for that type of movie.
There are now two QT players for the Amiga. One is called XAnim I think and
both are available on Aminet.

Is that the same as
>Xanim229 gfx/show Amiga anim player for X (unix)
on the 2/94 Aminet CDrom?
I haven't tried it yet. I don't have any QT anims to use.

Can these actually play Mac Quick time anims or movies? Do the Mac files
have to be modified first?

Jonathan;
Thanks for your reply. Is it true, then, that I simply have to download
the movie or anim from one of the Mac forums, and load it into one of
these programs, running on the Amiga? I have an A2000, '040 @33 with a
Picasso board, and lots of hard drive space.
