Marlene, I read your AmiExpo report. Was your reporting at all biased towards ASDG, and against their competitors? Didn't I see you working in the ASDG booth? You're supposed to warn readers of affiliations like this…

Foust, Marlene's comments cannot be construed as biased. If you attended the same fair we did you would have been pleased to learn that the A500 will consume 4.5 amps of power with a power supply which will supply 4.5 amps. The board Marlene references draws 2.5 additional amps (according to their engineers). According to the designers of the A500 (CBM – you remember them), the referenced product from the referenced company WILL blow up machines. The CSA turbo tower – well it is big. Marlene notes nothing which is not obvious. Basically John – if you knew anything at all about ASDG or the Amiga market place you would recognize that there were no competitors to ASDG attending the AmiExpo. And in fact, according to most people including the organizers of the show, we *were* the hit of the show. Sometimes Foust, sometimes. And what are you going to do for entertainment when we move into Mad City? Perry

John, Were you at the same Expo? I don't see one hint of Marlene being biased towards ASDG. [ Seems you enoy affiliating people with companies, you know what I mean ] Perry's [ASDG's] booth was a hit. It was constantly swamped with people. There wasn't one moment when there were less than 5 people there making serious enquiries. As Perry stated in his reply to you, there was no competition to ASDG at AmiEXPO…meaning no one was there offering the same type of peripherals. As several people told me at the Expo, "ASDG is on top now". Those are not my words but words of at least 5 people that mentioned it to me in passing. Gee, I know Perry & Eric, I helped them pack up at the end of the show, am I affiliated? I don't believe so. GreG [ Affiliated with Everyone ] Tsadilas

John, I am not affiliated with ASDG and I'm sure you know that. I helped Perry out because he was short handed. I didn't say anything that wasn't true AND if I was affiliated with them I would have stated that in the report. Nice meeting you there John! Marlene

John, They didn't even want to let Marlene in to Ami expo. (he he) Seriously, the ASDG booth was very busy at the show (I should know as my LICA AMIGA both was just accross fron theirs. I could see the number of orders being taken and they could have even used more people to he help As I understood it, Marlene was their just to help out. It just so happened that ASDG asked her first or she would have been at the LICA AMIGA booth. As for her comments, I think they were objective and fair. Rocco
