Oh, Barry – I just read an interesting thing on Usenet. Someone needed a
switch for his Amiga keyboard and was quoted an enormous price for them.
He took his keyboard a part and looked at it, then checked it against a
C64 keyboard he had nearby. Same switch. So he bought a C16 keyboard at a
surplus store for about $15 (and I bet a Vic keyboard for about $5 would be
the same) and now has 65 switches. He said there is a rubber pad that is a
bit thicker on the 64 than on the Amiga, but he just trimmed it to fit.
