That's basically it…an image scanned with SpectraScan can be saved with
(or “in'' I should say) any IFF format. Deluxe Photo Lab's Paint program
does a reasonable job of keeping up with the bit maps SpectraScan can
produce (although…SpectraScan has the ability to produce a HAM file as
large as 13 MBytes…a lot larger than DPLPaint can deal with).
Now wouldn't it be nice though if the paint package understood our “in-
memory'' formats so that the paint package could pain't directly over our
scanned images in a multitasking fashion? Well, maybe someday.
