I just printed a document containing Stone Bold and Stone Semibold fonts. The
only difference seems to be the letter spacing (the semibold is
ever-so-slightly wider). True for all three varieties. Am I missing something?
There is a DEFINITE difference in the three weights…if anything, Semibold
and Plain should be closest to one another, while bold really shows.
Do you have all of the screen fonts (all styles) installed in your System?
If so, do you notice the effects of choosing the different styles on-screen?
This will give you a good indication of the differences & tell you that you've
specified the right font.
More than likely, if you got the same font twice in your printout, it means
that the proper PRINTER font was unavailable…make sure that all SIX of the
Stone printer fonts for each family are inside of your Sytem Folder.
