I'm glad Wirth didn't implement concurrent assignment/comparison statements. I
would rather type a few extra lines of code which take 10 seconds than spend
hours on a silly and subtle bug. Also, the ability to exit out of any loop is
the equivalent of using GOTOs and we all know how evil GOTOs really are, don't
we.
I find bit manipulation just as simple in either language (or just as cryptic
<grin>).
