I have just read in Computer Shopper about a bus expander for the 1000 that
will get you to 2000 slots. It is by a company called Bill's Boards, however I
could not find any more info that might help me purchase it. Can any one
rinform me about this. I was thinking of putting a bridgeboard in this so that
I could add a hard disk to both a pc and a amiga are they any rumours about the
286 version and when it might come out?

Joe, you might want to get a copy of the October issue of "Ahoy's AmigaUser".
They have a review of the Busexpander made by Bill's Boards and distributed by
Comp-U-Save. It can be used on both the 500 and 1000. Retail cost is $495.

You will also need a babyAT cabinet and power supply. According to the review
it worked fine, but you should try to get a copy of it yourself.
