THANK YOU !!! I don't know what the problem really was but I used your
mountlist which, except for order, looked like mine. I then quick formated and
everything looked OK. I then full formatted and I got a Guru! I tried again &
IT WORKED!!!! After 2 weeks of screwing around IT WORKED!!!!

Jer, You're welcome. I'm glad that your problem is solved. I know too well
the problems with hard disk formatting and installation as they have haunted me
since I first tried to connect a hard disk to my old A1000. I guess we'll never
know what was the cause of the problem you had, but as long as it is fixed
don't try anything else!
I haven't tried RAD: yet (only because I believe in more permanent storage),
but I am interested in it.
