OK, folks, here's the latest on what gets what through the Style menus. all of the following info was extracted directly from virgin FOND resources, so if they don't work this way on YOUR system you probably are the victim of Apple's Font/DA Mover, and its nasty tendency to strip innocent FOND references when nobody's looking (or when you use it to copy fonts to your System file). Well, here goes nuthin' (aqui va nada?): FONT_________________STYLE______RESULT_______ Eras Medium Bold Eras Bold Eurostyle Bold D Eurostyle Demi D Eurostyle Demi Bold B Eurostyle Bold L Futura Light Bold B Futura Bold Futura Book Bold B Futura Bold B Futura Bold Bold ———-(no result) C Futura Condensed Bold CB Futura CondensedBold CL Futura CondLight Bold ———- CB Futura CondBold Bold ———- Futura Bold H Futura Heavy H Futura Heavy Bold XB Futura Extrabold XB Futura Extrabold Bold ———- L Helvetica Light Bold LB Helvetica Black CL Helv Cond Light Bold CLB Helv Cond Black L Memphis Light Bold B Memphis Bold M Memphis Medium Bold XB Memphis Extrabold B Memphis Bold Bold ———— 1,2,3Stone (any) Bold Sb Stone (any) Semibold Sb Stone(any)Semi Bold B Stone (any) Bold L Univers 45 Light Bold B Univers 65 Bold Univers 55 Bold Blk Univers 75 Black B Univers 65 Bold Bold ———— CL Univers 47 CLight Bold CB Univers 67 CondBlack C Univers 57 Cond Bold CB Univers 67 CondBlack Italics work very logically from the above table…choosing "Italic" for a given style will reference the appropriate italic, and choosing both "Bold" & "Italic" will follow the list above. The only exeption to this is Eras, which has no italics. Anything NOT listed above works normally…that is, choosing "Bold" gets you Bold, "Italic" gets you italic, etc. Note that none of the fonts with "Heavy" styles can access them by choosing "bold" from the style menu.
