I know your busy moving so am not expecting a reply very soon. On your FAX program, when doing a re-phase, only the first 380 lines get moved. The bottom 20 stay put. Could you add another key (say F18) to shift by one instead of eight pixels? How about having the program clearing the screen when it starts receiving an image. I was going to say possibly add another key to clear the screen and start again at the top on the fly, but just remembered that your not looking for any keystrokes until either the left mouse button is pressed or all 400 lines have been received. How about adding another receive option of 1024 by 400 so both IR and Visible images can be received in the magnify mode. So what if it requires 200KBytes chip ram instead of 125KBytes <grin>. Using a FRG-9600 rcvr and an 11 element 2M vertical beam through about 160FT RG-213 right now. Some time in the future I will look at a better antenna, probably Ralph Taggert's circuilar polarized omni directionand stick it in the attic (God, I had to look that up in the dictionary!). Probably look at a Hamtronics NOAA receiver after that. The FRG-9600's FM.N IF leaves something to be desired for NOAA transmissions. That EPROM you sent me still hasn't arrived.. AAAARRRGGGGG… Hope your move was a good one.
