We *were* modulating on different frequencies. If you have a Postscript
"printer" (as opposed to "imagesetter") that is producing film of any sort, as
opposed to paper output, I think you have something very hot. If it'll do 11×17
output, you may want to package it in asbestos. We're currently using the
Laserwriter to output pages at 300 dpi, and reducing the output at that to get
the full page on. We have a Dataproducts 2655, but it's not set up for
Postscript, although we're considering purchasing whatever is needed. I don't
know how everyone else feels, but the larger output is wonderful if anyone is
going to edit the output on the paper itself (yes, many of our users insist on
paper). We had heard that Agfa/CG was coming out with something new (we heard
not for 6 months), but we didn't hear anything about final film-quality
results.
