I'm contemplating an addition of a hard disk to my A-500. I have a friend who
can supply me with a SCSI drive very inexpensively, so I'm looking for a SCSI
controller for A-500. Vendors like C-Ltd, Supra, and GVP come to mind. Some of
the features I'm looking for are (not all are mandatory): auto boot, RAM
expansion capability, excellent transfer rate, and bus pass-through. I would
like a recommendation from you folks. I'm sure this topic has been kicked
around frequently in this forum, but I just recently came on scene, so I'd
appreciate your patience. Thanks in advance!

I can't tell you what the best Controller is but I can tell you that if you
call Supra they are having a sale on hard drives right now that will beat
anything you have seen on the mail order catalogs. I just bought a 20mb drive
with autoboot rom, powersupply,case, passthrough buss for only 499.00 plus no
tax because they are in oregon. good deal.
