I have taken a business's logo and using digiworks I have made it into a 3D object for silver. In the progress of this I have come across a few questions. Is there a way of turning off the 'No lights' requester? I have been using the global settings to get illumination and really would like not to have to click on that requester to render each frame. Next, I have run a 60 frame animation with this logo and first I made a scene in wire frame and everything was lined up just right; but when I rendered it (using ham, interlace, overscan20) the image came out a little to the left. Will this correct it self when I run it to tape or is it just a bug? Speaking of bugs this new version gurus after I 'Make Ani' (though the animation is save fine) and it gurus sometimes when I quit the program and then go back to it…the main screen comes up but with no cell numbers and then when I try to do anything I am visted by mr. guru. will the regular overscan get rid of the border and if so what is the benifit to overscan20? I hope that I have given you enough info to answer my questions. If not I will be back in a day or so!

The memory clearing problem is definitely a bug. You might check out a program on AmigaTech called "Clean" which wipes out fragmented memory. I'm surprised that you crash after you reload the program. Over20 was a last minute addition of severe overscan which obviously doesn't work quite right with the wireframe preview. I'll call Impulse regarding turning off the No Lights requester.

I haven't tried this yet, but wouldn't adding a lamp to the scene and turning it all the way down (so no light was coming from the lamp) work? Just a thought.
