Would somone please tell me alot about 3.1
What's it do. What will it do for me. How can I get it.
I have an A1200 with 3.0,
M1230XA 50/50/4MB
PSRam 4MB
2 HD's (233MB & 245MB)
PowerXL HD floppy drive

For an A1200, I've heard you'll get more DataTypes, a CD-ROM Driver (Data Only
– No Audio Support), and "cleaner" ROMS & O/S code. Since there are no A1200
specific ROMS (you'll be using the A4000 chips), you will also lose control of
your PCMCIA port (since the A4000 doesn't have one!). In my situation, I'm not
going to upgrade my A1200 for it really doesn't seem to be that big of a deal
with the software I use. It would seem the biggest reason to upgrade would be
for cleaner code.
