Hello Everyone, I have a major problem with DPaint III and I was wondering if anyone else had heard of it and/or knows of an update which has fixed the problem. The problem is that DPaint III uses form feeds to attempt to eject a page of paper from the plotter. That may work well in most cases, but I am using a CalComp Color Master three color thermal plotter. It uses form feeds to signal an advance of the color roll. What I am seeing is as follows: Call the print requester from the menu and initiate a print. DPaint sends the for form feed which advances the color roll (does nothing with the paper), it prints the plots, and sends another form feed to eject the page, which again advances the color roll and does nothing with the paper. I know that what is happening is that whoever programmed DPaint (Silva?) amade a fatal assumption that all print devices use a form feed to eject a page. Unfortunately, with the CalComp, an end-of-transmission character (04h) ejects the page. Instead of using an "eject page" ROM Kernel function, DPaint is using a "send character to printer" function. When I try to print multiple copies, all I get is the same image printed over the first on the same piece of paper, and color frames which are wasted on the color roll. At $45/145 images/color roll, I can't afford to waste any of the frames on the roll. I also do not want to sit and press the eject button all day long! I called Electronic Arts' techline. Although the people on the other end of the line were nice, they struck me like a glossy brochure. Nice to look at but doesn't contain any _real_ information. I explained what the problem was, and even told them what to look for. They told me that it MUST be a problem with the driver and to call Commodore. I protested and said that even a dork program like GraphicDump works with the driver, and I had the output to prove it, but they insisted that I call Commodore. So I did. The folks in Westchester started to "brain-frag" when I got into the details of the problem. They told me to call CalComp as they get most of their drivers from the p/exit
