I've an A3000/25 to which I recently added a C= 2010 internal floppy drive. The jumper on the mother board was changed to accommodate the drive as DF1:. There is also an external drive which has always been DF2:. Everything works well, except that when either DF0: or DF1: is in use, the other drive LED comes on and stays on solid as long as there is floppy disk activity. No biggy, but enquiring minds need to know. Advice, please. Thanks in advance. Dickoux

Dick, That light is like a bus activity indicator. When any of the disk units are active, they will come on.. // Gary Vander Mei on Auto-Pilot \X/

Gary, GVM> When any of the disk units are active, they will come on.. Thanks for the info. Guess I should have mentioned that the DF2: LED only comes on when that particular drive is active and DF2: being active does not cause the other drive LEDs to come on. Since DF2: is an external drive (and as such is plugged into the floppy access at the back of the machine) it may not be on the same bus, huh? Well, anyway, no biggie. Thanks again. Later. Dickoux
