(hope this works, its about my fifth try. Anyone else having trouble with Wha Whap and 2.02b?) Congratulations on Imagine, looks good and will be a great program when it's finished. And speaking of finished…. Finally got to the point where I wanted to Trace my 1 frame project. It has 2 large objects and 2 light sources. It renders fine in scanline, but trace leaves one object completely missing and pieces out of the other. This usually meant there wasn't enough memory in Turbo with my 1000 but now it's a 3000 with 6 megs. After initilization avail says that there is still 4 megs free with the largest block at 2 megs. No more is used during rendering. Any ideas why I get missing pieces and parts? Bill Carey 74025,1243

Imagine .9 has a 1024 x 1024 world size limit. The final product will have a 32K x 32K limit. You may be placing your object outside this boundary. Let me know if the problem is remedied by this. –Rick

Yep, that did it. Reduced the objects by half, moved the whole mess closer to 0,0,0 and it worked fine. Thanks! I haven't double checked this, but it seems to have a range of +- 1024 from 0 which gives it a world 2048 * 3. The camera was well out of range though, so its just a box for the objects eh? I'm glad to here that 6 megs will be enough, but I was looking for an excuse to get 4 more megs…… :> Bill
