I just bought a hard drive and have tried to install "It Came from the
Desert" in it using the game's install program. No success so far even
after modifying a line to get the excute file to finish. Has anyone had
any luck doing this? Chris
I got it to work from hard disk but, I had to rework the script to open a
custom window and type 'dshell'. If you can wait, I will E-Mail you a copy
what I did on Saturday morning.
Victor, Thanks a lot. Just got your EMAIL and am off to try it! Got kinda
tired of waiting for all those disk reads. My son usually played it the
most, but he's in Italy for a couple of years. I'll have to mail him some
results. Did you play "…Desert II?" Any good. Will look for your reply

'It Came From the Desert II' is not bad. I was impressed on how it builds
on the previous game. I had to create a script to work much like the first
game. I think you will like it.
Thanks, Victor. Couldn't get your script to work for me, either. So went
back and looked at what they were trying to do with their HD_Install
program and did it. So far, it seems to work just fine. Thanks for the
help. Without looking at your script I probably wouldn't have been able to
figure out mine. Best, Chris
