AA Pro and any Phar Lap application can use up to 64 megs of ram without
any trouble and any ram QEMM finds is ram that AA Pro can use, it just
sounds like the simm is bad or the address decoding logic on the mother
board is not compatible with Phar Lap. The different address for the
crashes point to a problem that is semirandom/hardware like. We do have
reported cases of failures when different simm sizes and speeds were mixed
and the mother board itself couldn't handle that configuration correctly.
There are also plenty of systems that have no problem at all with 32 megs
of ram, some of them belong to folks on this forum. Is the styles and
types of simm's homogeneous?

A possibility regarding the size/speed of the RAM chips is to use the NS
(nosort) switch on the QEMM line. I had a problem with QEMM/Windows/Acad
that required this fix. Seems the machine couldn't keep up with itself when
trying to keep the active application in the fastest (60ns) RAM rather than
the slower (80ns) stuff.

yes they are all 4 meg simm moduals 70 nanosecs. the board is a dx-6100
33/50i with 256 write back cashe. the microprocessor is intel
a80486dx-33/50 mhz. the board has eteq cougar chipset with vlsi
implementation. thanks
Who makes the motherboard, and how can I reach them? I'll send them a copy
of AA Pro to verify that it works with your configuration.

there number is 213 221-3135 . i replaced the motherboard with the exact
same kind but with a different chipset. the offening chipset was ETEQ. it
seems that they have a problem with phar lap's dos extender after more than
16 megs is installed. the exact name of the company i will find out but the
number i gave you first is there tech support in la. the exact name of the
board is 80486 cache 33/50 with the eteq couger chipset with vlsi
implementation. using american megatrends bios. thanks
