Is there any way to do unattended renderings with a batch file in
3ds? A readme .doc on some update disk will do… I've heard it exists, I
just cant find it.

Bill, the original readme.doc that came with 3DS explains how to do batch
rendering, and if you just type 3DS RENDER with no arguments, it'll tell
you what commands you can feed it.
