Thanks for telling me where the heart is. I'll look into it. (Who said
computers were anti-human?)
Suggestion: for those of us who are oriented to working with graphics but
not familiar with the drafting side of modelling, why not put a sampler up
on CIS?
"by-block, by-layer, p-line skeleton or small spheres" doesn't mean a great
deal to me at this point. If you could select a simple small model and zip
all those versions up into one file, anyone could use the age-old
"try'em/test'em" technique to find out what they need.
Hi Karl, Sure… I can take a finger off of each version of the DXF 3-D
People models and zip them up. If you want, I'll email the zip to you so
you can first see (1) what files your DXF translator likes, (2) which files
render and shade best and (3) whether you would rather find the pivot point
for rotating parts of the model by finding a small sphere or locating the
end point of a p-line… and as you said, you can try 'em/test 'em, and
know what flavor DXF 3-D People model would work best for you. –Frank
