I was on CServe this am, and lost connection. When I reconnected, I was
blocked from viewing any messages prior to my last visit (just a few
minutes ago). I was just about to view a lot of messages. How can I get
back to them?
Chuck – sounds like you might have been on just long enough for the system to
reset your high message number (HMN). What happens is that the system
monitors the msgs you download and resets the high message number each time,
so you don't keep downloading the same messages over and over.
Try entering this at a forum ! prompt:
HIGH;0
This will let you see all the non-scrolled messages in the forum. If that's
too many, you'll have to take a guess and enter another value instead of 0.
Entering HIGH;3700 will let you see all messages from #3700 on.
