Transmit Time!

I'm using AZComm and as such don't have Compuserve upload file transfer choices. Xmodem took better than an hour to transmit a half meg file, it gave me an estimate of about 1/2 before I began the transmission. What should I be using here? If AZComm doesn't have the correct transmission stuff, which PD offering does? Where on this board would I find it?

You should be using CompuServe B+ protocol. You can get JRCOMM or Backtalk (which both support that protocol from library 5 of AmigaUser). Steve

Margaret, For CompuServe you really need QuickB or B+ protocols. Several programs that use them are BackTalk (BT151.LZH) and JrCOMM from Library 5 of AmigaUser. They are much faster and more accurate than XModem. If you cannot have the B protocols, the next-best choice available is YModem. Betty
