Mark, what is this Basic Users Group? I quit programming years ago, when I
switched from a CP/M system to my first XT and became a Pournelle-style
"user". ToolBook "almost" got me nack to programming, but it was just too
slow, even on a loaded 386. VB _has_ got me back to it … actually
excited about writing programs again, but "rusty" is an understatement!
Support and knowledgeable users are scarce'r than hen's teeth out here in
Hong Kong, where everyone I know seems to be either immersed in
incomprehensible C code, or worse yet, "dedicated" to Cobol or some
mini-maker's proprietary 4GL dbms.
Would appreciate any info on your BUG. Am running a couple of 2400 baud
modems now but would go to 9600 if regular calls to a US BBS were likely.
Thks

Ric,
BASIC Users Group (BUG) is a paid service we offer to our customers. In
additon to the BBS, we have a bi-monthly newsletter, extended tech support
and discounts on all new products.
However, if VB support and electronic intercourse with knowledgeable VB
users are your goals, then this forum is the best place to be. The reason
is simple – there are many more people involved in this forum than there
are in our BBS!
Complete info on BUG is on its way to you!
