I purchased the Wolrd Atlas for Macintosh published by Software ToolWorks.
It apparantly does not work with CD Techology drives or any drive using the
Toshiba mechanism. Educorp has informed me that there is a fix coming in
the form of a new CD ROM that will work.
Has anyone else had any similar problems or heard the latest about this?

I just bought the same bundle from Educorpse with the same story about a
update to be shipped real soon now. I just tried my world atlas, and it
seems to be fine, so I must have the new version.
