I am a true novice in the DTV world. So far, I am equipped with a 486dx 66, a terriffic Envisions scanner, and just purchased a CD-ROM recorder today. I am in great need of knowing what is the best software for producing multimedia presentations containing audio/video clips, animation and etc… Any information or advice that anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated. It is a comfort knowing that I finally have a place that I can ask all my questions!!!!! Thanks, Tommy Fulton

Tommy, I have heard good things about MacroMedia's Director for years, you might check into it. Also, coming RSN for IBM Compatibles, is Scala MM100 which has been very popular on the Amiga platform. Welcome to the DeskTop Video Forum! -John

A program that I love is Astound. Gotta check it out for simple MM presentations. Dave Coy
