I am having a slight problem w/ the PDOX Engine. My initialization works
fine (PXWinInit). But, when I check for existance and try to open, I get
Error #1 – drive not ready. The tables exist, but they won't open. Any
ideas? Thanks.

Not much to go on in your message. I've used the functions to
test if a table exists and open them routinely. Perhaps you
could post a snippet of code here, include your declarations and
calls, and someone here should be able to help.
