Ron, Remember that you have only 4 slots in the standard configuration! And the bridgeboard takes at least one! The AT BB will overhang a 2nd slot because it is a sandwich board, i.e., an Amiga slot if you put it in the rightmost slot. You would have to remove 2 Meg of memory from your Microbotics board to avoid memory conflict with a bridgeboard. You would need one slot for a VGA adapter card. You might need a multi-function card like my AST SixPakPlus with an optional game port for a joystick. (The gameport might obstruct the use of a slot unless you are handy with hardware and mount it elsewhere.) Depending on how much memory you need, you might need yet another board to give you extra memory. See my message 38146 to the Ada developer. That would just about use up your slots unless you use Ken's technique to add a couple more slots. The other options, ATOnce, PowerCArd, etc. have other limitations, but I'm not familiar with them. Perhaps you should just consider an IBM clone and use a transfer utility to use IBM data files on your Amiga. I happened to buy my XT BB used for a low price; otherwise, I couldn't justify buying it. Plan very carefully! Sincerely, (Mr.) Gayle Lee Fairless 'Perfessor Fearless'

Fred, Look for his answer to me in section 12 or use the search function. You definitely need to be a good technician! Sincerely, (Mr.) Gayle Lee Fairless 'Perfessor Fearless'
