Dom, Same..same. Two inputs…one output. Were it me…knowing that it should have worked….I'd have wanted to know exactly why it didn't work. Don

Don, Well I'd like to know why it didn't work, too! But, after months of aggravation and returning boxes, I just gave up. I didn't know how to find out why it didn't work. When I left messages here, I basically got two kinds of responses. One kind said that the switcboxes also gave them a poor output display. The other kind said that it worked fine for them. I guess I could have brought my entire system with my switchbox to an Amiga dealer, but I didn't. Are you using a switchbox right now? Dom Fontana <– Sent from New York via AutoPilot –>

Dom, Nope…I only have one monitor, so no need for a switchbox, but I've used them. The best kind to use for video are those with a printed circuit between the connectors rather than a bunch of wires. There's a fair chance one or more of those wires will have a bad solder connection. Good enough for something like serial or parallel port switching, but not for video. Don

The FFV2 is so painless to install and it has the bypass to boot. I hooked up a NEC 3ds to the standard output of the amiga and a NEC 3FGX to the FFV2 and the difference was astonishing. It looks great. It works with everything. I still need a 2 meg Agnus (still using my old 512k one : P ) but other than that no complaints. Later… James P.S. Anyone have trouble with the megachip 2000? I am thinking of getting one and would like any feedback people have.
