Hi, Does anyone know if the CD ROM player that came with the LaserLibrary (CDU 7205) will handle Photo CD's? Thanks for any info – John

Call the Kodak Information Center (KIC) at 800-242-2424, extension 36. They will be able to tell you. Paul

Thank you Paul. The trouble is, I am in Switzerland and 800 numbers are not available. In a previous thread I saw Compuserver ID for the KIC (70007,6241) but a message to that ID was returned as undelivrable. Any help would be appreciated. John

Try KIC at 75300,3257. Or try to call the Kodak switchboard in Rochester, New York, at 716-724-4000. Paul

John, I've got some bad news for you and other owners of the Sony Laser Library CDU-7205. According to Kodak,in order for the drive to read SINGLE session Photo CD's you need an XA controller,the CDB-X10. I then called Sony who told me I needed to contact Marshall Industries at 800-522-0084. When I asked Sony about the price of this interface card,I was told "probably around $400." Hell,you can by a Kodak Photo CD player for that! I called Marshall industries and was quoted a price of $399 for that card.
