Hi Paul! Thanks you for your hint, but in Germany there are also some companies which *sell* CG Fonts. I hoped that were would be some in the PD. Regards Gerhard

Gerhard, The fonts that are available here are converted Shareware/PD fonts and are sold as such by the PD libaries. Presumably it would only be a matter of time before they reach the Compuserve libraries, and you can freely download them. Personally it is cheaper for me to buy them from a PD library than it is to download from CIS (UK CIS rates are far to high! ;-). I know there has been some debate as to the legal side of things, i.e Does the AGFA/CG font format carry the copyright or the font itself. All I can say is that as I understand it, the UK distributor has the blessing of AGFA and Gold Disk so I now assume that they can be used in the same way as Type Ones. Hope this helps, but probably just adds to the confusion 🙂 Paul Lakey (UK) Enjoying AutoPilot!

Paul do you know from which source those Fonts are converted? I wonder wether the converted Fonts are as good (and fexible) as the original ones. At the Ami Show in Cologne a company (i forgot the name 🙁 ) introduced a new font which seemed to be compatible with the CGFonts, but they have been var too expensive. CU Gerhard P.S. In Germany the CIS Rates are also to high! 🙂
