2090a&st506&scsi&WB2.0

My Amiga 2000 (which I bought used) came with a 2090 and a ST506 type 40MB
hard drive and 1.2 roms. I bought a used 2090a thru the forum here and
discovered it wouldn't work with the 1.2s. So I waited until 2.0 came out
and upgraded to it. Unfortunately C= didn't think anyone would use anything
so primitive as a 2090a and ST506 with their new machines so the HDSetup
programs don't cover it. And the 2090a I got came out of a 2000HD and the
instruction booklet isn't very technical. But I did finally get it prepped
and formatted and running. And then I decided to set up an AMAX partition.
I managed to establish the partition but never could get AMAX to recognize
it. So I gave it up as a bad job and have lived with the 30MB AMIGA
partition being too lazy to back it up and reformat.
So, at an IBM type computer show I was looking at the $1/MB no warranty
hard drives. I have bought a couple of these for friends and my church and
they have worked. And there among the MFMs was a 20MB SCSI. So I decided
it would be worth trying.
But now I find my expertise stretched beyond reason. Can anyone tell me
the appropriate mountlist, etc., entries for a 2090a with a SEAGATE 251 and
a Miniscribe 8425SA?
