Sorry, I don't know who responded to my message over there but thanks for
the quick reply. I'm kinda new at compuserve so you'll have to forgive me.
I did what you said and took out RDPADI but it didn't seem to matter.
Preview still locks up every time I use it. So, what I did was to take out
Dl-Xpress altogether, this seems to work just fine, except that now I can't
render in anything over 320×200. Any suggestions? Probably more of a case
for Vibrant Graphics tech support. Do you know of anyone else using the
Graphics Ultra (Gateway 2000 edition)?
Well, thanks again for your help.. Oh yeah almost forgot I did a few tests
with Racecar.3ds and here's my results at rendring (all with Phong Med, to
Null at 640×480 – this is a Gateway 2000 486/33 20Mb (no HD paging))
first test:307sec with Himem.sys:308sec with Himem.sys and Dos High:308sec
So, it really didn't make any difference to use Himem any suggestions for
increasing rendering speed?
