Hello ! Im using the same equipement as you. Im quite new on this kind of matter but perhaps i can give you some hints. 1) What frame rate is set in the "make Movie options" Premiere tends to use only 15 fps which of course results in bumby pictures. 30 fps for NTSC (25 for PAL) should give better quality. 2) Did you set anything in the "data rate" option ? Try to test the data transfer rate of your system within the MCI-device-Setup. Set the data rate according to this. A too high rate will make the PC to loose frames when loading. To be fair we must admit that for this price the Fast Movie Line offers real good quality. I read a report in a German PC-magazine, where several Video boards around 500-2000 DM were tested. The Fast equipement was the best in almost all categories, (but also the most expensive). If you like i can sent you a short summary of the results. Finally i want to ask some questions : – What is a TBC ? – What PC-equipement do you use ? – Does "make movie" need every time several hours to create a movie ? – when i capture a movie in 160 x 100 there are more lost frames than in 320 x 200. Did this happen to you too ? Frank Mussler
