Thomas,
I'm interested in the VLab Motion. Not a bad price for NLE, relatively.
I've had good results using a VLab grabber to do some motion capture. It
was fun to play with but I'd like true NLE with sound and all. Good VHS
quality would be fine for the first few projects I have planned.
What do you think of VLabs quality for VHS quality editting? Say VHS/SVHS
source to VHS finish?
Thought of getting an A3000/4091 and VLab/Tocotta to use as a source dec
for my Toaster. But I'll probably go with a Pentium 90 instead :^(
What system are you currently using?

Hi John,
I'm not currently a Vlab user. Will forward a few very informative
communiques from real ones though. What's this about Pentium? Vlab is
strictly Amiga yes? Are you looking at other software harware ?? I've been
looking at Priemiere for the last 1.5 months. It is GREAT software but MACs
are in a huge transition from NUBS to PCI and hardware issues a great
problem… too soon to buy in, maybe in 1-1.5 years… but not now (unless you
already have a quadra. I didn't think that windows based systems were really an
option either… for more or less the same reasons. I own a Amiga 3000 and so
the Vlab investment sounds like at very least lesst a workable interim
solution… and perhaps something good will develop on that front once a new
company takes over..
let me know what you're up to and thinking about
