URGENT! URGENT !
If anyone is using the Trantor SCSI Host Adaptor (which comes with the
Texel CD-ROM drive) to control a scsi hard drive, could you please let me
know what driver file to use.
I have installed a new scsi HD to the adaptor card but I believe I need a
special driver to access the new HD.
I'm stuck.

Heres' what I've got:
Config.sys: Device=c:\tscsi\tslcdr.sys /d:TSLCD
Autoexec.bat: c:\tscsi\mscdex /d:TSLCD
Also, the tscsi directory is included in the Path of the Autoexec.bat.
BUT, don't ask me any technical hardware questions, 'cause I don't know the
answers. I just used the installation program that came with the Texel
SCSI, and was absolutely amazed when everything worked the first time. I
think this is the only time in all the years I've worked with computers
that a hardware installation worked the first time. Usually, I have to call
up friends, programmers, the company, etc. before the things go.

Thanks Jack, but what you've given me is for the CD-ROM. My CD-ROM works
fine, no problems at all.
My question is what the .sys file (or whatever else is needed) to access a
NEW SCSI HARD DRIVE ALSO CONNECTED TO THE SAME SCSI CONTROLLER.
Do you have a SCSI hard drive connected to your SCSI controller in addition
to the CD-ROM?

I've got a SCSI controller running a hard disk and the CD-ROM, and I used
to have one running two hard disks and a CD-ROM. The trick is to set the
SCSI identifier on the hard disk to 0 (usually the default) and the id on
the CD-ROM to 1. That, plus using the correct driver for the CD-ROM, ought
to do it for ya.
