I need help ! I have an A2090 autoboot controller, which works great, until
I plug in my SupraRAM 8 Meg (fully populated) memory board, then atoboot
won't work. Software utilities like SysInfo say the board is still there.
What's going on ? How do I fix it ? Thanks.
Paul,
This may sound silly but… Are all the jumpers in the right place?
There are two that tell the board how much memory is on it, and one that
puts the board into Test mode. If the board's in Test mode, the system
won't be able to use the memory. (It's for use with the SupraRAM memory
test program.) I'd look the jumper numbers up, but my SupraRAM docs are
buried somewhere, and I'm not going to disassemble my Amiga! 🙂 (My
so-called filing system is best called "sedimentary".)
