I've been told by my retailer (Amiga) that you are developing or have released an upgrade to the BME which includes a structured drawing program. If this is true, when, where and how can I upgrade?g

HotLinks Editions 1.1 was released at WOC Pasadena (mid-September). It includes the same bundle of three programs, but with some enhancements. PageLiner now has a Settings menu with all prefs available from it. You can set a fontlist path so PageLiner can use PageStream fontlists. The new Font command gives you a PageStream style font requester to format your text with fonts. The 10 function keys can be programmed to switch fonts, tags or to enter text. BME has been given a Trace command which converts bitmap pictures into structured drawings (IFF DR2D). These drawings can be imported into PageStream, Art Expression and ProVector for editing and printing without jaggies. HotLinks has been given a minor interface overhaul. All three programs are now Workbench 2.1 and 3.0 compatible and use the new look menus and scrollbars under 3.0. All three are now font sensitive to adjust to your system font choices. All three are now Locale compatible to adjust to your preferences language choice if the appropriate catalog is available. Upgrades from HotLinks Editions 1.0 to 1.1 are $35 plus shipping ($5 in North America, $15 outside North America.) The current shipping version is 1.1.1. Art Expression is a separate product. It's a structured drawing program and will retail for $249.95 when released in a few weeks. BME 1.1 is bundled free of charge with Art Expression as a bonus. Art Expression will be offered to existing PageStream users for only $125. The same offer will be made to owners of other Amiga drawing programs. Michael Soft-Logik
