"print a single character at a time" – you mean only one character per
page??
Since I am running a 2500/2.04/HP LJIIIP/my driver, I haven't seen any
problems. Wonder if CBM changed something in the hardware. Could it be a
handshake timing problem? Are the towers the '040 or '030 versions? Do
you have FastMode turned on or off on the tower? If on, try with it
turned off. Are the caches set up the same on both machines?
