Hello, Can anybody tell me what to look for if my Internal Floppy is very sensitive–That is, The slightest vibration will cause it to think a disk has been removed. This is VERY frustrating during copy operations or compression since it usually results in an abort or a damaged file. I've taken my computer apart in the past to perform upgrades and soforth so I'm not afraid to poke around a little. I'd just like to know if anyone out there can point me in the right directionas to what to look for on the drive that might be causing this. Thanx Craig Glaser

Craig, Check the drive connector in the back…make sure it's fully on. Don

Craig, Although it may be internal to the floppy, one easy thing to check is that the drive cabling, including the power connector, is properly secure. Do you remember having a diskette getting stuck in the drive for some reason? David
